Guest Information
General Rules
- Cell phone conversation is restricted to the beach and parking areas only.
- Cell phones must be in silent/mute mode in the Clubhouse and at the poolside/beach deck.
- Smoking is restricted to the beach and parking areas only.
- Port Royal is a family Club. Children are welcomed and will not be subject to guest charges.
- In these Rules and Regulations children are defined as twelve years of age and under.
- No pets of any kind are permitted on the premises.
- An exception to this rule is the use of a service dog.
- No gratuities of any kind shall be given to any employee of the Club by Members, guests or their families.
- Exception: Valet Parking attendants and Massage Therapists may be given gratuities at the time their services are rendered.
Dress Code
All Members and guests are required to comply with the Club dress code.
- Daytime (Prior to 5:00 PM)
- Men: Collared shirts, turtlenecks, slacks or knee length shorts
- Women: Appropriate attire
- No fitness attire after 11 AM
- Evening (After 5:00 PM)*
- Men: Collared shirts, turtlenecks, and slacks (no shorts)
- Women: Appropriate attire
*May 1 – October 31
Men: Knee length shorts permitted in the South Terrace and in Benbow’s Bar.
(Not to include Rogue’s Rest)
Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Friday Evening Seafood Buffets
- Men: Jacket and Tie, Slacks
- Women: Appropriate Attire
Daytime (Prior to 5:00 PM)
- Men and Women: Shirts, covered bathing attire, shoes at all times,
- casual wear, tennis attire including ball caps/ball hats and visors.
Evening (After 5:00 PM)
- Men: Shirts / Slacks or knee lengths shorts
- Women: Appropriate Attire
- Examples of inappropriate attire for the Clubhouse/Poolside/Beach Deck:
- Blue denim of any kind, tank tops, thong style bathing suits, halter tops, short shorts, clothing with offensive language, and sleeveless shirts (men/young men)
- Relocation into the Clubhouse from the Poolside/Beach Deck due to weather
- Costume / Theme / Private Parties / Events subject to the approval of the Club Manager
